The Flip MinoHD

Premium MinoHD

The MinoHD has recently launched a new “premium” version. It is basically the same as the existing MinoHD, but with 8GB of storage. It has a bigger two-inch lcd screen and features an HDMI port to help connect to a HD television.  This is all wrapped up in a sleek aluminum shell or a personalized design from the Flip website. The 8GB storage means that the MinoHD can now record up to two hours of 720p high definition video. There is also a new version of the  software, which features a movie mode that trims and edits the video before sharing to video sites.

Flip has done a respectable job of bringing simple, high quality video recording to the ordinary person. The MinoHD is full of features and is very easy to use. The memory and battery are both built-in, and are adequately sized to take a day’s worth of video without filling up or expiring.
